No one needs a special reason to visit a garden, but Wellfield Botanic Gardens gives visitors several reasons to enjoy nature during the month of May.
National Public Garden Day, May 9, coincides with the kick-off of another beautiful season at Wellfield Botanic Gardens. It is a day to remember, celebrate, and appreciate our connection with nature, plants and water. There is always something new to see and experience. In June the Waterfall Garden and Sensory Garden will be completed and open to enjoy.
In addition to recognizing National Public Garden Day, Wellfield Botanic Gardens will also celebrate the new season with special Mother's Day in the Garden activities planned for Sunday, May 11. There will be fun activities for moms and kids as well as food and refreshments for those who simply want to enjoy the gardens on a beautiful Sunday afternoon.
